Human Race
I try to learn what's right from wrong
But all the world is focused on
Ethnic race or color of face
But what happened to the human race?
Can we for once look past the skin?
And see the soul that is within?
And see, not a stranger, but a friend
And see that it's, like us, human
Ignore the pressure from your peers
And let their lies fall on deaf ears
And cheer, rejoice that we are alive
Grown stronger from years that we've survived
Yes! We are human, we are strong!
And know that we have the strength to carry on!
And disprove the lies of years gone by
Embrace the truths we once denied
I apologize, for all of my past sins and lies
